As Chief Investment Officer, Brian is responsible for coordinating all efforts relating to investment decisions and the investment process. This includes maintenance of the firm’s investment philosophy, research, due diligence, and analysis. He organizes and implements the firm’s strategic and tactical decisions, and monitors these decisions over time. Through these activities, he strives to provide the firm with investment strategies that are capable of meeting the many needs of its clients.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pacific Lutheran University. Prior to joining ABFS, now Viridian, he worked in Tacoma, WA, managing several equity portfolios, and making private equity investments for a family office. He is fascinated by technology and early-stage growth companies. As a habitual early-adopter of new technology, an avid podcast listener, and a devoted reader, Brian enjoys reading “the latest” on Twitter just as much a good Vince Flynn novel or Walter Isaacson biography.
Outside of the office, Brian is a huge sports fan who can usually be found coaching his son Cooper’s basketball teams, reading books to his daughter Reese, or enjoying a moment of peace with his amazing wife, Holly.
