Robert 'Bob' Pennell

Bob originally began his career in the armed forces having served in Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corps, where he was a fighter pilot, and later flew as an advanced fighter pilot instructor at Top Gun. Bob graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, and from Harvard Graduate School of Business, with an MBA.

Before joining ABFS and later merging with Viridian, he founded Harvard Financial Advisors and provided financial advice to clients for 10 years. Prior to that, he served as the Manager of Capital Projects for Cameron Iron Works, a management consultant with MAC, was the CFO with Optron, was the CEO with Beta Engine Systems and was with Weyerhaeuser’s New Business Ventures Group.

Over the years he has served on the boards of several organizations including the Snow Leopard Trust, Friends of Youth, University Prep, and the Harvard Business School Alumni Club.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends in the great Northwest, skiing, hiking, playing golf, sailing, and fishing.  Bob is married to Addi and has two adult children.
