Habib specializes in preparation of financial statements. He has been working in accounting for over 40 years, including 15 years in England. Habib was born in Tanzania and spent his childhood in Africa, before moving to England in 1965 to study accounting. Habib left England and moved to the U.S. in 1978.
Habib lives in Mill Creek with his wife Sakina and has three daughters: Dr. Natasha, Dr. Sabrina and Farah. Habib is a noted South Asian Community Leader and the current Co-Chair of the Washington State Summit on US-India Trade & Commerce. Previously, he served as the President of Indian Arts and Heritage Society, and Commissioner to the Washington State Commission on Asian Public Affairs (a position appointed by former Washington State Governor and current U.S. Ambassador to China, Gary Locke).
